Gymnastics & CrossFit Coach

Conor has been coaching CrossFit for over 4 years and has been coaching at Ion strength and conditioning for 9 months. Conor has also recently finished studying a degree in Strength and Conditioning, Massage, and Rehabilitation at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Conor’s sporting background originated from playing football as a schoolboy as well as boxing and, most recently, semi professional rugby.
Conor is now a successful competitor in CrossFit having competed at the highest level in the UK and across Europe in both individual and team events. In 2018 Conor also competed as part of a team in The CrossFit Games European Regionals.

  • Sports Massage Level 3
  • Gym Instructor Level 2

“Everything – you can be the most talented athlete in the room, but without hard work and mental attitude you’re leaving yourself open to failure.”

What is the first thing you do when you get to the gym to start your training session?
I chill for 5-10 minutes before warming up.”

What is your favourite quote or mantra to live by?
‘Today I will do what others won’t, so tomorrow I can do what others can’t”

Does being a good person make you a better athlete and coach?
“YES! There’s a massive transfer here .”
